  On July 11, 2009, Broken Social Scene performed a live rendition of "Anthems for a Seventeen-Year-Old Girl" at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, featuring notable guest vocalists Emily Haines, Feist, and Amy Millan. At this time, the band was continuing to build upon the success of their acclaimed album "Feel Good Lost" (2001) and the more commercially successful "You Forgot It in People" (2002). However, in 2007, they released "Forgiveness Rock Record," which revitalized their presence, and the live performance documented in the video came two years after that album, during a period when they were also nurturing their collaborative spirit.
